  • Steve Scarratt - Director

Steve has been in the motor industry all his working life. Starting as an apprentice mechanic (working on Allegros and Metros!) he subsequently moved into sales and quickly became the youngest Mercedes-Benz dealer principal in the country, a position in which he excelled. Having achieved all his goals within the PLC world he started Auriga Cars in June 2008. Holiday loving Steve is married with two children and he enjoys running to keep fit, walking his Labrador and going out with family and friends.
  • Nick Prados - Director

Nick graduated from Sheffied with an LLB honours law degree and trained to be a barrister before joining the industry in 1994. Initially in car sales, his career subsequently involved consultancy work with both manufacturers and dealer groups before rejoining the retail environment. He established Auriga Cars with Steve and has thoroughly enjoyed every step in the company's growth. Married with two children, classic cars are his passion and he loves socialising and travel.
  • Jim Kyte - Sales Executive

Jim has been in the motor industry for over fifteen years and has an excellent reputation in the local area where he has worked in sales during this time. Since joining Auriga Cars he's become an integral part of the operation. Outside work he is a family man who spends time with his close relatives and friends. Cat lover Jim has a Persian moggy, Garfield, and his pastimes include going to the gym and being a sports car enthusiast he enjoys driving high-performance cars.
  • Ashley Richardson - Aftersales Manager

Ash has been in the motor trade for over ten years and since joining Auriga Cars in he has worked his way up to become aftersales manager. A highly valued member of the team he has helped build a great reputation for the operation and an army of loyal customers. He is a devoted family man who has a daughter and baby son. In his spare time he adores eating (cheese is his favourite), watching football, having fun with his 'handbag' pooch Lenny the French Bulldog and spending time with family and friends.
  • Malcolm Simmons - Technician

Malc is a Sheffield chap born and bred who attended All Saints school and studied automotive engineering at Castle College. Having worked in the transmission and motor industry he operated his own local business for over ten years and is known to virtually every one in the area. We were delighted when he joined Auriga Cars and with his cheerful disposition, knowledge and local connections he's an undoubted asset to the business. Blinky his American Bulldog is massive and needs plenty of walkies and as for hobbies, he enjoys keeping fit mountain-biking, is learning Taekwondo and has recently taken up orienteering though he's only tackled the local park so far and got lost!
  • Haydn Wood - MOT Tester and Technician

Haydn completed his apprenticeship and became fully qualified as a technician and MOT tester. He's worked at main and independent dealerships in and the Chesterfield before joining Auriga Cars. There are few, if any, jobs that daunt him, he simply loves a challenge. Always happiest with an MOT clipboard or spanner in his hand he's a real pleasure to have as a member of the team. A keen dog lover, he has a Border Collie cross and Spring Spaniel, he enjoys spending time walking them and going for a pint. The 'Monty Don' of the company his two allotments keep him busy in any spare time he does have!
  • Andrew Cross - Technician

Having served his apprenticeship way back in 2004 Andy is a fully qualified Technician with a wealth of experience. From Chesterfield he's worked in car supermarket operations, a franchised dealership as well has having operated his own mobile service business so there's not much that fazes him. A great family man he's married with a little boy but still manages to find time to get out on his motorbike, work on a Capri which he's currently restoring and his melodic voice can be heard on local radio where he DJ's a rock show!
  • David Gilbert - Technician

Motor-mad Dave who began his working life as an apprentice in Chesterfield and studied at college there has been in the industry ever since in various roles. Latterly his been employed by a national automotive chain and has certificates coming out of his ears. Married with two kids who he loves to bits he's another of the Auriga team with a passion for modified, especially Vauxhall's, and classic cars. He's currently carrying out a full restoration on an original mini, we can't wait to see it hit the tarmac!
  • Luke Barnes - Apprentice Technician

Luke joined Auriga Cars having completed his GCSE exams as an apprentice and is enrolled at Chesterfield College to undertake his training to become a fully qualified technician. A polite, confident young man, he's fitted straight in and as the 'baby' of the team he's been adopted by the whole Auriga family. He lives with his parents and sister but the world's his oyster now he's passed his driving test having previously been confined to two-wheeled motoring! When he's not zipping about or going out with friends he plays cricket and football and also loves cross country running, mountain biking and kick-boxing.
  • Mick Cox - Driver Valeter

Mick has been in the motor trade since leaving school and has a wealth of experience. He joined us at Auriga Cars years ago and is a genuine, loyal and key member of the squad. He is a pleasure to work with and always has a smile on his face. Mick is vital in ensuring that our vehicles are prepared to the highest possible standards for photographing and when being delivered. In his spare time Mick is a keen model railway and steam train enthusiast who travels the country to attend events and rallies.
  • Adam Davis - Driver Valeter

We delighted that car-mad Adam's joined the team having worked previously in the motor factors sector for a number of years. Since starting to drive he's owned and driven all the modern classics and is a mine of knowledge. A local chap he lives with his wife, the lovely Kelly, and they have two wonderful children, one of each. A happy family man he adores spending time with them and his two dogs (a big and little bulldog) but if he ever does get five spare minutes enjoys eating out and going to the cinema.
